Updates on the Pikchur service and what the Pikchur crew are up to

New Features!

Hey guys, we added a bunch of new features and tweaked some API stuff around, here are some of the changes and additions we have been hard at work implementing:

New Features

- Improved stability and retrieval time.

- New security features added, all requests during and after login are sent via SSL.

- Triggers!  Whats a trigger? Well lets say you want to change your normal settings for any of your synced accounts on the fly? Simply send us a trigger in the body of your message and we will override your default settings on the go!

For example: Twitter settings can be overwritten by sending +tw+ or -tw- in the body of the message (+service+ = on, -service- = off). More on that here http://pikchur.com/faq#triggers

- FAQ’s added , http://pikchur.com/faq

- Identi.ca @replies now active on comments.

- Rejaw Supported, threaded comments enabled as well.

- API Modifications

> SSL Added to the mix, API request for secure data is sent via SSL.

> Auth Function created , send auth data via SSL and we return an auth key that is valid for 15 min. You then use this auth key to request/send data on the user that recently authenticated

> Simplified upload and data retrieval by not requesting auth data every time, just send us the auth key and the data you wish to request/send.

- Zazzle Supported, have the piks you send to us made into all sorts of things, mouse pads, coffee mugs, post cards, and even stamps!

We are constantly integrating new services and features, if you know of a service or feature that we should integrate or create next please feel free to email us @ info[at]pikchur[dot]com.

We hope you like it , let us know what you think on our  getsatisfaction page.

Thanks!
